I’m an advocate for trust and psychological safety at work.

In relationships, teams and cultures.

The majority of my career was spent in commercial marketing leadership roles at Hasbro, The Walt Disney Company and Universal Pictures. With a home base in New Zealand, I travelled and worked internationally, building a career that was challenging, rewarding and fun before settling in London in 2009.

Trust was a cornerstone of the success I enjoyed throughout my career, making possible some very ambitious goals. Achievement, enjoyment and learning were taking place while we were blowing targets out of the water. It was game changing, yet no one was teaching how to make it happen. So in 2011 I retrained, and built a coaching and consulting business in London.

In 2016 I took the business to New Zealand and in 2020, when life brought me to Melbourne, Covid gave me the opportunity to relaunch with a new brand and digitally led range. As tough as the pandemic years have been, the silver lining has been working with clients in Europe, the US, EMEA and Asia Pac in the space of a week, and sometimes the course of a single day.

There’s more to this story, as I know there’s more to yours. If what you’ve seen here interests you - get in touch. I’d love to know what brought you here and where you’re heading.

How we unlock & build trust and collaboration to create high functioning cultures in our work places - regardless of size, geography or industry - has never been more important.

As Senior Consulting Partner I bring a raft (yes that’s a lot of years!!) of experience in the talent space.

The common threads of client consultation and service are innately woven throughout the varied roles & industries I’ve worked in. In addition I truly value the exposure I’ve had to some of the very best HR Practitioners - globally.

My genuine affinity and belief in human potential and development has landed me here. There is so much more to this story and there is a lot of work to do. If creating a high functioning culture is an ambition you hold for your organisation, get in touch. I’d love to meet you.

Felicity Gray - Senior Consulting Partner.

What’s in a name?

Oro stems from the Greek word ‘oros’ meaning mountain. It is also used to reference the ‘mouth’ when used in compound words. In Spanish and Italian, it’s the word for ‘gold’. In Maori, it means ‘resound, echo or resonate’ (verb), or refers to a ‘sound or rumble’, or a ‘note’ (noun).

Collective represents a group of people acting together.

Oro Collective is focused on sharpening the innate human skills of sharing, listening and co creation, so we can mine the gold that is collective intellectual and emotional intelligence for the good of the economy and the people we work and live with.

Fear and trust are two primary motivational forces - what is your current culture reflecting?
